PRIVACY
POLICY.

The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no tracking, and the only personal data I hold is whatever you choose to put in an email to me.

Who I am

AMIN STUDIO is a one-person web design business based in Hove, East Sussex. I am the data controller for anything described on this page. You can reach me at hello@aminstudio.co.uk.

What this website collects

Nothing. There is no contact form, no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no cookie of any kind — which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner. Every link that says “get in touch” opens your own email or phone app.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data such as your IP address in order to serve the page and protect the site from attack. That happens at the network level, not through anything I have added to the page.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers and Google will see your IP address. If you would rather that did not happen, the fonts can be self-hosted — ask me.

What I hold when you contact me

If you email or call, I keep your name, contact details and whatever you tell me about your business, so that I can reply and quote. The lawful basis is legitimate interest — you contacted me about work, and I need the details to answer you.

  • Enquiries that don’t become projects: deleted after 12 months.
  • Client records: kept for six years after the last invoice, because HMRC requires it.

I don’t sell, rent or share your details, and I don’t add you to a mailing list.

Who else sees your data

Only the tools I need to run the business: my email provider, my accounting software, and my hosting and domain providers (Cloudflare and Namecheap). No one else.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I’ll do it within a month, free. If you think I’ve got it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

If this changes

If I ever add a contact form or analytics, this page gets updated on the same day and the date at the top changes. Analytics, if it happens, will be a cookie-free option — I’m not putting a consent banner in front of a five-page website.
